We hire people who care how it is made

Small team, real ownership, and no pretending a deadline can absorb infinite scope. If you want your name on work you would show someone, this is the right size of studio for that.

A wide view of an open-plan studio with people working at desks.

Working here

What we can actually promise

Not a list of snacks. These are commitments the studio holds to.

Hours that end

We scope to a normal week. Crunch is a planning failure, and it is on us when it happens — not on you to absorb.

Real ownership

You own a workstream end to end, talk to the client directly, and see your decisions ship.

Code review, always

Every change is read by someone else. It is how the team levels up, and it is not optional in either direction.

Learning budget

An annual allowance for courses, conferences and books, plus paid time to actually use it.

Flexible location

Remote-friendly with overlapping core hours so reviews and pairing still work. Come in when it helps.

Say no, safely

If you think a plan is wrong, say so. Disagreeing with the founder in a review is expected, not brave.

Hiring process

Four steps, about two weeks

No unpaid take-home that eats your weekend, and no eight-round gauntlet.

  1. Step 01

    You send something

A CV, a portfolio, a repository, or three paragraphs about a thing you built and what you would change about it. Any of those is enough to start.

  2. Step 02

    A 30-minute call

Mutual. You find out what the work is actually like; we find out how you think about problems. No trick questions.

  3. Step 03

    A paid half-day

A small, real task from an actual project, paid at your day rate. You keep the work and the money regardless of the outcome.

  4. Step 04

    An answer

Within five working days, with specific reasons either way. If it is a no, you get feedback you can use.

No role that fits?

Write to us anyway

We have created roles for people who were obviously worth hiring. Tell us what you do and what you would want to own.
